If you want to have the ultimate whale watching experience, join our whale snorkeling tour. This is a 4-hour tour that allows you to swim with whales in their natural habitat. You will have the chance to see blue whales, humpback whales, fin whales, killer whales, sperm whales and dolphins up close and personal. You will also get to snorkel with turtles in a beautiful coral reef.

We offer two options for our whale snorkeling tour:

• Team boat tour: This is a perfect option for couples, families or groups who want to have a more exclusive and personalized experience. You will have the whole boat for your team, with a maximum of 3 people. The price is $450 per boat, which includes breakfast, all snorkeling equipment, free snorkeling with turtle tour, GoPro camera, and free pick up and drop off within 10 km.
• Private Boat Tour : You will have your own private boat tour which includes breakfast, all snorkeling equipment, free snorkeling with turtle tour, GoPro camera, and free pick up and drop off within 10 km. So you can enjoy and experience without any distractions!
• One person tour: This is a great option for solo travelers or budget-conscious guests who want to join a small group of other whale lovers. The price is $160 per person, which includes breakfast, all snorkeling equipment, free snorkeling with turtle tour, GoPro camera, and free pick up and drop off within 10 km.

Our tour includes:

• Breakfast: You will enjoy a delicious breakfast on board, with fresh fruits, sandwiches, coffee and tea.
• All snorkeling equipment: You will get all the equipment you need, such as mask, snorkel, fins and life jacket.
• Free snorkeling with turtle tour: You will also have the opportunity to snorkel with turtles in a beautiful coral reef. You will see different types of turtles, such as green turtles, hawksbill turtles and loggerhead turtles.
• GoPro camera: You will get a GoPro camera to capture your amazing moments with the whales and the turtles. You can keep the memory card after the tour.
• Free pick up and drop off: We will pick you up and drop you off from your hotel or any other location within 10 km from Mirissa harbor.
• Guide: You will have a friendly and experienced guide who will accompany you in the water and show you the best places to snorkel. Our guide will also teach you about the different types of whales and dolphins that live in the area, such as their behavior, habitat and conservation.

What to expect:

• The tour lasts for about 4 hours, depending on the weather and the whale sightings
• The boat leaves at 7 am from the Mirissa harbor
• The guide will brief you on the safety rules and the snorkeling tips
• The boat will take you to the whale watching area, where you will look for signs of whales such as spouts, splashes and tails
• When a whale is spotted, the boat will approach it slowly and carefully, keeping a safe distance
• If the whale is calm and curious, you will have the chance to jump into the water and snorkel with it
• You will follow the guide’s instructions and respect the whale’s space and behavior
• You will enjoy the amazing experience of swimming with a whale in its natural environment
• You will return to the boat and continue to look for more whales or dolphins
• You will also stop at a coral reef where you can snorkel with turtles
• You will have snacks and water on board
• You will return to the harbor by 11 am and be dropped off at your location
